Dear Denise Thomas:
First and foremost, I would like to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for hearing and answering our prayers by giving us our home back.
Our ordeal began in November 2009 when we could no longer afford our mortgage payment. Like many home owners, we turned to our bank for assistance and entered into the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) trail period, which was suppose to only be three months. We made six faithful payments as required each month only to be told that we were terminated from the HAMP trail period because we failed to return the final package, which was not true. Then the bank told us the most horrifying news anybody could receive, they had started the foreclosure process on our home. The only way to save our home was to come up with the full amount of the loan and attorney fees.
We were left alone and no one to turn to for assistance. Yes, there are a lot of programs out there designed to assist but you have to pay big bucks up front before they can help you. They all promise they can get your home back but in the end, you are still without your home and money. Well, our home sold on Friday, November 12, 2010, at approximately 9:00 AM, and prior to the sale we tried everything to stop it. We were unsuccessful. So, we turned to God for help, fell to our knees and began to pray for our home.
The Lord answered our prayers by sending us Denise Thomas of Operation Reach. Once Ms. Thomas took our case, she worked tirelessly in getting our home back. She fought those big government agencies relentlessly on a daily basis. She never took “No” for an answer and when they would close a door on her she turned around and opened another. Because of this ability, we got our home back in June 2011.
Thank you Denise Thomas for what you have done for us, God has truly blessed you with a great gift to help those in need. We will continue to pray for you and your company that you may prosper and grow so that you will always be there for us.

Recession of Foreclosure
Operation Reach has proved again that it is more than possible
to regain ownership of your home after foreclosure!
Here is a great example of what Operation Reach does for homeowners who have lost their homes to foreclosure. Ms. Karen Mena, of San Bernardino, was recently featured in the LA Times because of her difficulties with the loan modification process which resulted in foreclosure of her home. Ms. Mena contacted Operation Reach, wherein we quickly identified the errors made in her foreclosure, which we pointed out to both her lender and her investor. The process to get her home back took over a year to complete.

Dear Honorable Barney Frank:
It has been and extreme pleasure
to work with Denise Wilhite-Thomas and Operation Reach.
Mrs. Wilhite-Thomas is a consummate professional. Operation
Reach demonstrated an innate ability to mediate my loan
modification with Countrywide Financial Corporation.
Their prompt and outstanding service on my behalf was
immeasurable. Operation Reach's presence is an asset
to the community for homeowners that are in jeopardy
of losing their homes.
Because of their sincere desire to
meet the needs of their clients, they faced the most
grueling challenges when interacting with oftentimes
inflexible negotiators. Their extreme knowledge in lending
practices, excellent negotiating skills, capability
of formulating tactics, and attention to detail allowed
for a speedy and quick response from the lender on my
behalf. Both the lender and I were completely satisfied.

Re: Thanks to Operation Reach
To Whom It May Concern:
I write this letter with great thanks
and gratitude to Denise Wilhite-Thomas at Operation
Reach on behalf of my mother. I was referred to Operation
Reach by a mutual friend, but at first was hesitant
to work with this company on word of mouth alone. After
my first conversation with Denise and giving her a synopsis
of my mom’s situation I felt confident in her
ability to get the job done. We were at a point where
we didn’t know quite what to do and no other financial
institution up until this point was able to assist us.
Denise picked up the pieces where
we had no expertise and served as the liaison between
my mom and Wachovia. Let’s just say "she
hit the ground running".
Because of Denise’s knowledge
of the business and her strong negotiating skills she
was able to get my mom’s loan modified to a rate
that was suitable for her needs. My family and I are
grateful for people like Denise who know the business
as well as care about their clients needs and we appreciate
her assistance and the quick turnaround that the overall

was interesting to know our protectors (Police and Firemen)

Operation Reach - Thanks to Operation Reach!
I write this letter with great thanks to Denise Wilhite Thomas at Operation Reach on behalf of my wife, Paulina Garcia. We were truly blessed when Denise Thomas of Operation Reach began to work on getting my home back to my family and I after it was forclosed and sold on April 20th 2010.
I was referred to Operation Reach by Edgar Nuflez, a mutual friend. We were at a point were we had spent a lot of money with two other companies who only took our money but did not deliver any positive results, didn't know what to do and no other financial institution up until this point was able to assist us, because of Denise's knowledge of the business and her strong negotiation skills she was able to get our house back.
My family and i are grateful for people like Denise who know the business as well as care about their clients needs and we appreciate her assistance and the quick turnaround that the overall process took.
Thank you god for placing Denise and Edgar in our path, for they were like angels who came to our help when we were most troubled.
After a year of treatments my wife is cancer free and we are back in our house.
THANK YOU SO MUCH

Office of Thrift Supervision - OTS Ombudsman
Thank you for contacting my office. I know you are frustrated
with the lack of efforts by the banking industry with
assisting consumers. This is a follow-up to our conversation
today on some of the points we discussed.

continues with each individual case.
Regardless, your work provides you a unique perspective
to see what is not being done by banks on loan modifications
and what best practices should exist. As I explained,
OTS investigates individual consumer cases to determine
compliance with federal regulations that we enforce,
however, we do not get involved with individual business
decisions by the thrift, which is often the case with
loan modifications and/or foreclosure situations. You
could assist us by sending me general information on
the issues you have seen in dealing with X and I can
forward the information to our Supervisory group to
review as they regulate the thrift. Notwithstanding,
Operation Reach"s experiences may help us to look
for patterns or practices in an institution that might
be hurting consumers.
Again, I understand your frustration. I will pass along
your concerns to those here at OTS. If I hear of any
other avenues that might help you and the consumers
you are assisting, I will pass along that information
